Agenda

  • Task list/status
    • tolerance analysis
    • material irradiation
    • radiation loads
    • impact of environmental variations
    • floor loading
    • fringe field impact
  • Status of MIT/JLAB work
    • funding for new work
    • MIT/SBU spectrometer prototype fabrication status
      • a bulleted list of the objectives of prototype testing
      • a test plan and schedule for the above (so JLab folks should travel to observe some of the testing when appropriate)
    • a breakdown of the MIT request
      • coil tests
      • collimator/apparatus engineering
      • other activities
  • Next meeting

KK: wants to go over my understanding of what information JLab wants from the MIT/SBU spectrometer prototype and other efforts, in the hopes that we will get some additional money for fiscal 18 for design work:

  • a bulleted list of the objectives and what would be accomplished in the prototype testing once it has been delivered to SBU.
  • a test plan and schedule for the above (note that Thia has instructed Robin that some JLab folks should travel to observe some of the testing when appropriate).
  • a breakdown of the MIT request into what corresponds to the coil tests, and what corresponds to collimator/apparatus engineering and other activities.

We should figure out which of these can be done quickly and which of these requires work to be done and when it could be finished.
