• Updates
  • HCAL
    • All cable trays installed
    • Started cabling
  • Bigbite shower
    • replaced FADC, second one given to Bill Gunning
    • Jessee set up cable tray on blue racks, ready to start cabling. Bringing cable on side and will lift cables
    • All FADC cables plugged, cabling trigger cables now ( will ask help from Mark )
    • BNC cables FE bunker left and BB shower preshower to FE, Jessee working on alignement will cable when he is done, will start cable to bunker
    • HV :
    • Scalers : 2 scalers from Bob, need to install in hodoscope crate or in scaler crates
    • Cosmics counters : in EEL 122 ready to be moved to Hall A - 1 paddle on top of BB - need find a way to secure on - 2nd paddle on floor - need to figure out how to work
  • BB Hodoscope
    • software work : comparing new software with older code - looks ok
    • not started cabling yet : need training, will start on Monday
  • GRINCH
    • finished scripts to be used to monitor during run - ADC calibration script and event display -
    • cabling out from basket, BNC cables shared with hodoscope - might need to take everything out - TDC conduits can be installed - path need to be refined depending where repeater rack is going
    • when cardboard can be removed ? Bradley will check with Jessee
  • LHRS
    • Maria finished cabling for A1, will check with the DAQ
    • 8 or 9 FADCs deployed
  • CDet
    • issues with HV crate, working now
    • taking data right now
    • when computer crash - HV setting get lost - might consider switching to Lecroy HV
    • need 4x4 MAPMT spares - might need to order new ones - using PMTs from last module
  • Bigbite GEM
    • connected GEMS to MPPs
    • run fiber to bunker a bit short
    • will start reading out with SSP
    • might reposition the rack
    • move computers in Hall ? Need a table ( will check Jack )
    • SSP setup in INFN : not working yet but in progress
    • VTP readout : Bryan finishing up adding ROC to VTP for VTP readout of MPD - working on library to VTP, just need to combine read-out - can configre MPD and APV through VTP - still need work on readout - ~ 1 week
  • UVA GEMs
    • SBS side XY : 2 out of 40 chambers shielded - 2 more students helping
    • BB side : XY layer cabled in Hall A, Sean working on DAQ.
    • 3 slots - Paolo found issue with some line - not terminated properly - , add two termination resistors near connector - send schematics - possibility to get a new a set of backplane
    • MPDs order in : FPGA are delay but we have - 1 oscillator part -
    • APVs ?
    • GEM installation : crane going away August 8 or 9th, trying to see how manny layers can be ready and instrumented
    • SBS GEMs might be hold
    • any help useful : email Holly if you can help
    • GEM will be in Hall and need to decide how to install
  • Helicity
    • still working in test lab
    • no scaler helicity class in Podd, looking at fastest way to integrate in Podd ( hcana has one ? Steve )
    • old TG0Helicity class based on ADC
    • need to check with Brad and Alex, with channels would go in scalers
  • Beamline
    • met with Don Jones and Cameron, revive alarm handler for beamline
    • new Hall A website live, if anything missing check with David
