Small angle GDH preparation:

• Jian-Ping:

     - try to be redy to get beam by Friday 18th.
     - field mapping can start tomorrow.
     - Survey from Monday to Wednesday.
     - Laser alignment from wednesday night to friday morning.
     - correction coils are ready.


• Vince:

     - Water calibration: on Monday, got a nice water calibration with ice-cone cell.
     - Field gradient:
         --> a few gauss near target region
         --> dBz/dz about 50mG/cm at septum=165A
         --> dBz/dz about 65mG/cm at septum=220A
         --> will monitor gradient as field ramp up
         --> field map this weekend.


• Alexandre:

     - need BCM calibration at the beginnning of the experiment.


• Patricia:

     - will integrate the new variables in start and end-of-run scripts.
     - Kathy will add them in the EPICS datastream.
     - has to make oven RTDs.
     - will work on laser alignment as soon as the target system is shielded.

Spin duality analysis :

• Patricia:

     - Pion rejector calibration: resolution 38% (bad !!!).
     - will try another method to calibrate it.

g2n analysis :(Kevin)

     - new model to fit unpolarized cross section: works pretty well on GDH data.

GDH analysis :(Karl)

     - collision loss
     - fitting 3He and carbon cross section to extract Fermi momemtum.
     - Comparison with Seonho for Delta sigma para. and perp. along with polarized elastic tail: pretty good agreement.
