The anneal took about 2 hour, from 19:00 to 21:10. During that time Pengjia completed the tungsten calorimeter runs, and we let Huan in to look at the parasitic detector setup. As soon as the anneal was done and we were ready for beam at 21:10, he was out of the hall.
The ARM went back in the hall at 21:10 to take a closer look at a hot spot near the target. The hot spot was beam left at the septum, so it looks like the scraping we are seeing is not in the beam pipe before the target, but after the target. The lack of hot spot in the spot++ of the HRSes is comforting.
