4.1.6.2  Radiation Alarms

Radiation Alarms are located outside the experimental halls, for example in the access labyrinth. A magenta beacon indicates the presence of a possible radiation hazard. If you hear an audible alarm, a radiation hazard has been detected. Exit the area as soon as possible. Once you are safely out of the area, contact the Machine Control Center, call 911 if emergency assistance is required, and call extension 4444 to notify Jefferson Lab emergency personnel. Always keep personal safety your first priority.
