4.1.6.4  ODH Alarms

ODH Alarms are both in the hall in general (for cryogenic ODH) and in the HRS EA/HA detector shield house (for chamber gas). A blue beacon indicates the presence of a possible ODH hazard - proceed with caution. If an ODH hazard is detected, an audible alarm will sound. Exit the area as soon as possible. Do not attempt to rescue co-workers inside unless you have the proper equipment and training. Once you are safely out of the area, contact the Machine Control Center, call 911 if emergency assistance is required, and call extension 4444 to notify Jefferson Lab emergency personnel. Always keep personal safety your first priority.
