5.1.3.8  Low Conductivity Water (LCW) Operations

Hall A LCW is controlled by a pressure regulator located on the balcony near the pivot. The HRS EA & HA power supplies are fed from this supply and regulated to a pressure of 100 psi. Return pressure is approximately 50 psi and normal supply temperature is usually between 80 and 90 F.

During normal operations the supply, return valves at the entrance to the hall will be open on all connected circuits.

The attached drawing, figure 2.1.3.10 , shows the schematic of the low conducting water LCW system.
