discussed the status of the final analysis:
For the final
analysis, the data replay and elastic asymmetry work has
been completed, but some work remains
for the elastic cross section, and
N2 dilution.
For the final
analysis, Xiaochao is using new acceptance cuts. For the deadtime
correction, Xiaochao gave an overview
of her work. She also looked at the PID
efficiency. With the new analysis,
the largest change for the raw asymmetries
is the parallel asymmetry for the
x = 0.33 kinematics ( ~ 1 sigma). The DT correction,
acceptance cuts, and database/ntuples
each accounts for about a third of the change.
For the elastic
analysis, Xiaochao needs to check the asymmetry more thoroughly.
The simulation is about 2 sigma away
from the data. There is also a 20% difference
between the raw data and elastic cross
section simulation for the left arm. The right
arm elastic cross section data agrees
with the simulation.
For the pressure
curves, the R-arm 3He pressure curve is off, but the L-arm
is good. The N2 pressure
curve looks good for both arms.
Xiaochao's
plans to work on radiative corrections, MC for DIS, and cross
section, g1 and g2
analysis.
