keyword=Right Dipole "Quench"We are having problems with the right dipole. It "quenches" (the actual indicatioin is a coil voltage quench) at what seems to be random times during ramping. Sometimes it trips after as little as 25 amps of ramping and sometimes as much as 235 amps of ramping (the last one shown in the attached plot). The trouble started this morning at around 4:25. There's a rumor that at the same time there were target problems that may have been associated with some sort of power glitch. Javier and I can only suggest having a tech come in and cycle the power to the whole system to see if that can reset things.
