keyword=Compton activity, part III = 3 uA is better, we were swamped (high deadtime) before.
Run 17548. at 3 uA in Test2 config. Threshold 50 (!!)
Still seem swamped.
Go to ~1 uA. Run 17549. Rate actually increases again !
Decide to move detector to 11mm (were at 7 mm) to
try to reduce rates.
Going to 0.5 uA. Run 17550. Oops, threshold still 50.
Going to threshold = 20.
No evidence of a signal correlated with laser in FADC (fig 1).
The standard stripchart rates and Diancheng's analysis
seem to confirm this.
