keyword=CH scaler issuesThe scaler in the CH crate (ROC23) was checked thoroughly but
NOT replaced. If the leadership wants me to replace it, I have
an identical spare prepared. I avoided this because I think it
works. Issues:
1. I did find one problem: the LNE signal was only 2 nsec
wide ! I increased this to 500 nsec.
2. I changed happex3_ts.crl to use set_tir_oport and unset_tir_oport.
The 3rd bit on CH TIR has been used to gate the LNE and this logic
was all messed up.
3. Checked the timing (fig 2). Actually this is perfect for
measuring an asymmetry ! Using the GMN output of timing board
vetos the scaler from just before LNE to just after MPS. Duh !
I should have used this for PVDIS !!
4. Checked Hall C "BCM10" signal in 7th chan (fig 1). Looked ok for
all the runs.
5. One glitch: Although the CH synch mon worked mostly, there was
one run (12371) where it got stuck. But BCM10 looked normal, except for
one event where it was big, so I don't think it is a scaler problem, but
again if people want me to replace it I will.
