keyword=scaler measure of EDT nonsense
I cannot understand the scaler measurement of electronics deadtime (EDT).
The overlap between the trigger and the EDT pulser would normally be less
than the EDT pulser, providing a measure of one component of deadtime (i.e.
the pulser gets lost). The other component - pileup - is only measured in
in an event analysis. Instead, this overlap exceeds the pulser, on both spectrometers
in a rate dependent way. At next long access, give me a page so I can check this.
Meanwhile the event analysis looks roughly ok so far, but I need to check more.
