this is a type of thing that will give a grad student nightmares.



i checked the prescale factors for the last couple of weeks.



it appears that from run 2524 to run 2778, the prescale were:



PRESCALE FACTORS:ps1=4300   ps2=160   ps3=1100   ps4=120   ps5=1   ps6=86   ps7=1   ps8=327675  



from run 2779 to ~now (run 2925)



PRESCALE FACTORS:ps1=5000   ps2=200   ps3=3000   ps4=200   ps5=1   ps6=200   ps7=1   ps8=327675   



it appears that the change in prescales occurred about the time we switched from carbon to berylium.
