keyword=auxiliary plane discriminator threshold changeDuring the access earlier this evening we changed the auxiliary plane discriminator threshold from -40mV to -100mV (see halog entry 139521). By plotting the adc spectrum for an auxiliary plane bar (#20) with and without a cut on the tdc spectrum, we have verified that the increase in threshold only affects (and cuts out) the pedestal. This is illustrated in the plot shown below; the black line is without the tdc cut and the green line is after the tdc cut is applied.
