    keyword=Detector asymmetry widths

    Detector widths are unequal; for example, in run 5640 (raw asymmetries):

    det1  908
    det2 1921
    det3 1171
    det4 1145

    Detector combination asymmetries are calculated in the analysis using weights, but at present all weights are set to 1. For the right arm (det3 and det4) this is fine, but not for the left arm. Before we balanced the HV the difference in signal size effectively gave roughly good weights, but now the results are bad: det_l width comes out to 1068. Re-analyzing with weights .8 .2 1 1 gives det_l width 829. We probably should set default weights something like this in the database.
