For the signal cables, going from the bottom of the Pion Rejector to the top, the bottom layer is numbered 1 to 17 on both sides (right and left) and the top layer is numbered 18 to 34 on both sides. Most of the signals go to an ADC in the bottom Fastbus crate. The left side 1-16 go to the top connector of the ADC, the left side 17-32 go to the second connector down of the ADC, the right side 1-16 go to the third connector down of the ADC, the right side 17-32 go to the bottom connector of the ADC. Both left and right 33-34 go to the upper Fastbus crate. For the high voltage cables on the left side the bottom layer goes from 1-16 and the top layer goes from 18-34. These are plugged into 1461 modules in the HV crate. Slots 3, 4, and 5 with the L1 cable plugged into channel 0 of the card in slot 3. The cable numbers progress in order from there. So, L34 is in channel 9 of slot 5. For the right side the bottom layer is numbered 1-17 and the top layer is also numbered 1-17. The prefix letters are different between the two layers. The top layer is plugged into cards in slots 9 and 10. Channel 0 of slot 9 is top right cable 1 and channel 11 of slot 9 is top right cable 12. Channel 0 of slot 10 is top right cable 13 and channel 4 of slot 10 is top right cable 17. The bottom right HV cables are plugged into slots 10 and 11. Channel 5 of slot 10 is bottom right 1 and channel 11 of slot 10 is bottom right cable 7. Channel 0 of slot 11 is bottom right cable 8 and channel 9 is bottom right cable 17. I hope I got this all correct. What this means is that if we look at the HV channels in increasing order of the crate slot and channel numbers the left side goes bottom-then-top and the right side goes top-then-bottom.
