Short instructions:

  hvgui_bb  <-- for the BigBite/HAND group of three crates
  hvgui_hrs <-- for the RHRS bottom HV crate

These commands will also work from adaq@adaqlX.

You should always try the above command first.

If the backend is killed/dead then you need to ssh to the appropriate host and run

  start_hvgui_XXX

where XXX is 'bb' or 'hrs'. Run 'hvgui_XXX' first, and you will be prompted with instructions to restart the GUI.

The new BB settings files have been moved to /home/adev/slowc/ with the rest of them. There is a tarball of the /home/a-onl/scr_hv directory at /home/a-onl/src_hv_07Feb2011.tar.bz2, but I do not think there is anything useful that does not exist in the /home/adev/slowc/ directory.

This link needs to be updated with the new procedure (I think Larry controls this file).
