    First of all, last time I checked pattern synch was
    Thursday morning, not Friday. I had remembered wrongly.

    Below is a raw dump of some helicity data from just now.
    (I am in the CH.)

    It looks ok to me. Quad structure. The clock
    is 101 which is about right (103.7 kHz / 960 Hz).
    In this printout "qrt" means "pattern synch".
    Of course this doesn't replace an analysis code,
    which is what we need. But it's a good sign.

    ring_map points to the 4 channels we save in
    ring buffer. It might not be optimal. "9" was
    formerly the DVCS trigger 10, but now it's the clock.

    What it was:
    ring_map[0] = 2;
    ring_map[1] = 17;
    ring_map[2] = 9;
    ring_map[3] = 4;

    What I change it to now
    ring_map[0] = 2; /* trigger 3 */
    ring_map[1] = 17; /* upstream BCM (x3 gain) */
    ring_map[2] = 0; /* trigger 1 */
    ring_map[3] = 4; /* trigger 5 */

    I'll make sure this gets implemented (reboot TS11 to load it).

    On a more negative note, when I run my own online helicity
    checks there are many failures. It is "as if" the
    helicity disagrees with the predictor algorithm.
    Like maybe they changed this ?
    I am investigating.
