Computer center fixed the network switch halla-rightarm-top-sw.  It had
to be reloaded, as it had lost its configuration.

I rebooted all the frontend cpus but did not try to run CODA yet.

I restored the HV on the top HV crate. Works fine.  I took it through a
few cycles of bring it up and turning it off (power off).  The "empty
string" problem appears to be absent, but it was a rare thing anyway.

The bottom crate has a problem, though.  I can turn on the modules but
there are two issues:

1. The modules in slots 2, 4 have a voltage limit - about 34 volts.  I
can control them between 0 and 34 but not beyond that.

2. The module in slot 13 trips on any of its channels if you ask for a
voltage above about 50V.  Even with no VDC plugged in.

I tried various things, like I brought a module which I knew was working
from earlier testing -- same symptom of a HV limit.  

My plan is that after lunch I will test all modules from the lower crate
in a crate downstairs.  If they work there, I will consult with Jack. 
Might be a power supply issue.  

In the meantime, please use "./hvs RIGHT_top"  to run the top HV crate.
