    keyword=Change to hydogen elastic points

    I found from the target part of the Hall A web page that the diameter of the target is 2.5in. So the protons will pass through the entire target for angles =atan(3.175/7.5) = 23 degrees from the middle and 12 degrees from the back. So we will have to have a good model of the target and dE/dX. So for 18.84 degrees we decided to stop the kin8 point and move to the kin9 point. We will add a kin10a which is 2% lower than kin10 ( which becomes the delta=0 point). Also for the first hydrogen setting we need to add a point 3a which is 2% lower than kin3. Given the width of the target it probably best to skip the next "-2%" hydrogen kin 15 point at 23 degrees and add a point kin17a which is 2% lower than kin17.
