Maurizio gave an update on GEMC development [1]

The main change is it will go to geant4.9.5, materials will be in database, installation script change and so on.

We have fix the production version r5583 which is still geant4.9.4p02 before adoption to the new change, refer to Solid_GEMC_version_historty
