• Updates
  • HCAL
    • Taking data with overlap region trigger with different thresholds
    • testing DAC, patch panel received, not able to get any output so far. Some channels voltage changed but cannot control. Need to look more at it with Bryan.
    • writing GUI to control the DAC
  • Bigbite shower
    • with current noise with MIP from pions, best approach is take data in mode 1 rather than mode 7
    • still need to test F1 TDC
  • Bigbite hodoscope
    • taking data smoothly
    • threshold study for NINO cards
    • working on documentation
    • no issues
  • GRINCH
    • Gasket material delivered, will install next week, GRINCH open this week
    • continuing on software and documentation. VETROC data ok still working on ADC
    • issue with ROC decoding of ADC - might be missing a header for decoding - might need to adjust the read out list - intelvmeha6 - Mark / Bradley will look at making rol similar to hodoscope
  • LHRS
    • cabling detectors with Maria
    • copy Bigbite shower FADC library over to HRS so can use
    • Fastbus was missing a slot, flag word in detec
  • GEM TEDF
    • upgraded resistors on all MPDs and reconnected
    • rate tests : no ethernet readout 100 % occupancy 1.7 kHZ, 800 Hz with ethernet readout, 1% to 2% 4.3 kHz with ethernet. Ben investigating why is a bit lower that expected
    • looking at common mode supression - few channels look fine with common mode suppression but look odd with zero suppression
  • INFN clean room
    • trying to get at least one layer going, so can test shielding, running fine with minor cable connection issues
    • SSP readout on hold for now, maybe after BB is installed in the Hall - might want to set it up early for development while installing in Hall A
  • UVA clean room
    • tested with Bogdan with aluminium shielding, see same noise reduction as copper, will go ahead with alumimium shielding
    • after remove 3 layers to GEN RP , now space for UV chambers
    • reiceived cable ferrites, will test next week
  • VTP setup TEDF
    • about done port MPD library to VTP, debugging fiber links
    • might want to setup SSP optical setup in UVA clean room
  • CDet
    • still odd issue with ADC - Alexandre will look at it next week
