Updates

• CDet
  • plan to move CDet in the Hall : module 1 ready to go
  • DAQ : meed to go in Hall to check how cabling is going to be done
  • Software : starting to look into updating CDet geometry
  • VETROC adapter : 40 adapters bough by JLab for TDC but haven't been found, will plan, need to make cable from repeater to VETROC to be made, will be done by CNU this month
• GEM
  • put Bigbite modules online : 3 crates online, BigBite + 2 SBS, MPD still need to be connected to crates through fibers, and no APVs connected
  • plan to be ready to take cosmics in about 6 weeks
  • discussion if we can move patch panel for MPD fibers
  • Kipp working on shielding simulation from beamline side to try to reduce background, impact of adding copper on exit of snout to reduce rate from target ( need to study impact on resolution ), still need some work to generate the look up tables, need Eric digization and adapt to planned configuration.
  • need to plan to generate look up tables from data
  • scintillators read to be installed for cosmics trigger and need to flush chamber for 1 week

• ECal
  • 4 NPS crates were moved in Hall A ~ 1000 channels - need to plug to network and get them online
  • 39 FADCs : delivering planned for October
  • Kipp helping on PMT installation and cabling with Jimmy, Don and Simona

• 2 New postdocs from UConn on GEp Anu and Provokar

• Moving the TS crate to the other side of weldement

• need find people for long delay cable installation, CNU undergrads from CNU helped a lot for GEp3 cabling : 2 to 4 undergrads

• pi0 data ?
