  • ECal
    • Timeline for installation
      • All PMTs installed this week
      • working on main cable trays from detector to bunker
      • next week main enclosure, can start cabling
      • cosmics by end of October
      • waiting for 39 FADCs end of October
      • Cosmics trigger : self trigger start to look at self trigger like NPS - Hanjie almost done with cosmics trigger firmware
      • ECAL students : Mahmoud VT, Kip UConn ( Simulation + hardware installation ), Jhih-ying (Fadc SCALER ...) UMass ( HCal )
      • need software for calibration and set VTP thresholds (Jhih-ying ?)
      • long cables from ESB last going in
      • cabling of FADC next week - will connect crate to network and TS when they are done
      • ECAL VTPs put together with SSP - no V1495 in final setup
  • HCAL
    • Jiwan and Ji Hing measured delay for VTP and analog - 2.5 uS for new firmware -
    • FADC scalers for HCal being implemented
    • Ben asked David Abbott to update to CODA run control for the sync reset so we can have digital trigger and GEM
    • sync reset enabled in DAQ now - might need to disable if GEM take data - might need to run HCAL , ECAL and GEM separately until CODA update
    • TS crate - but might get single DAQ -
    • HCAL TDC ? : reference time - V1495 output and analog - Trigger time from TS - could put trigger to look at efficiency
  • CDet
    • CDet moved in Hall A, all 6 modules, frame in 1 or 2 weeks, some things to move from Test Lab
    • Start taking cosmics with full detector readout
    • 1 months : cables needed to be made, 3 modules to be retroffited
    • HV : Lecroy crate in HRS - still need two negative HV to use as spare - maybe need 2 more to power the detector
    • CNU students : Jacob, May and Gabriel
    • software : plan to use high resolution software for VETROC
  • GEMs
    • arranged fibers on MPD crates
    • will work connecting to VTP and start low level
    • scintillator paddles for cosmics trigger : ~ estimated 1 week for flushing nitrogen + Ar 2nd week of September
    • ordered additionnal fibers
    • LV : could be turned on - using the SBS LV supply - New channels to be installed on break out
    • LV current : need to follow
    • test optical fiber
    • add firmware to MPD for monitoring
    • Histogramming method : ready to be studied - could be compiled for 32 MPDs
    • INFN VTP : check VXS key need to be tighen up
  • Beamline
