Discussed option of resizing beam pipe near Moller detector and adding corrector coils. Bill Henry presented studies he did with G3 simulation that show a moderate increase in backgrounds mostly due to reduced shielding. Nothing absolutely conclusive, but it appears that we would be largely insensitive to the additional backgrounds since they are low in energy.
Kate Evans and Don Jones discussed Kerr measurements and showed that they can't seem to achieve saturation. Even "null" results with a silvered mirror showed field dependence. Dave Gaskell suggests terminating the signal from the photodiode with 50 ohms to ensure highest bandwidth and lowest frequency dependence.
