HAND timing Calibration

In order to calibrate the timing for HAND in such way that all TDC's will give a reading in the same time respectively to defined trigger following script is prepared. In this script we should calibrate each layer seperately. In each layer we calibrate all PMT's respectively to top one. The procedure as follows:

  1. find the center of top and bottom bars (left TDC - right TDC)
  2. define a cut, Accept only muons that go perpendicular to each layer
  3. calculate the TDC offset for each PMT from (left TDC + right TDC)/2 of the topest bar in each layer.
  4. correct the offset when taking into account the actual time of flight of the muon (~3.3 ns/m)
  5. present the corrected plots
