GEM inventory for GEn-RP and GEp:
Update on BB GEMs
- GEM experts on-call [3]
- Hole in layer 2 [4], next access is tomorrow. Option 1 is to move the layer and replace the backplane, option 2 is to swap the long cable and check, option 3 I suppose could be a problem with the MPD or the short cables.
Update on layers for GEn-RP
- APV order, about 200 APVs
- Review of APVs needed for near-term experiments (XW)
- Recent DAQ problems seem to be resolved by restarted the xterms (not SBS problem)
- SBS gas issues: need to watch bottle changeovers as the bottle didn't switch last weekend (probably due to nitrogen problem) [5]. Since forcing the bottle changeover, it should be noted that bottle changeovers are preceded by about 1-2 hours of mixture dropping by about 10%. We could force the changeovers to avoid this.
