• Meeting time/day: Mondays at 11 am still ok?

December Run

• There was one opportunity for Compton running during December 2015 run
• Yves steered beam through chicane (at 11 GeV) pretty easily
• Did not see obvious collisions at first (background = 2000 Hz)
  • Yves reduced backgrounds to 500 Hz
  • Beam interrupted before we could do vertical scan
• See logbook for more:
  • Beam in chicane
  • Backgrounds after tuning

Laser

• Laser became noisy right before beam test - was able to lock, sort of.
• Investigating source of noise:
  • Seed laser ok Scope photo
  • Coupling into fiber amp?
  • Fiber amp itself?
  • Back-reflection?

• Status of detector in hall
• QWAD tests: JLab (Hoskins/Camsonne)
