Carlos: update on pion rates estimation
Eric: very first look at beam background int TDIS Main motivations: estimate the levels of background in LAC, RICH to setup the trigger logic; Caveats: still fairly low statistics (~6.10^9 events) -> LAC rates to be taken with a big grain of salt;
Rachel photon rates on gem planes
any other updates

Carlos: Feedback from Andrew: sidis/pythia not expected to compare very well; pythia analysis seems correct;
Rachel: look at analysis with no "kryptonite" (will repost); question to investigate: why the very upstream plane has larger background
Eric: Need to investigate LAC rates/occupancies for the *PMTs*; Need to evaluate LAC rates with something else than beam-on-target (Pythia???); Setup RICH/LAC correlations for DIS; evaluate non-correlated background to that.
Thia, MArco, Ed: BNL may give us Sampa chips to start to test( and we might get more!)
Steve: talked to Gagik: use ML to help for tracking
