  • Thia: Rolf disclosed capital equipment for next few years: TDIS electronics scheduling FY21-22: Means we need budgeting, means we need approval, means we need operational high rate tracking.
  • Nilanga: designing prototype (will likely be square and not cylindrical). Maybe an update in two weeks? Also, will use refurbished material so will be pretty cheap (5k?)

Number of channels? <1k;

  • Ed: small number sampa5 chips from Brookhaven, They would also provide FEC, firmware/software; only drawback is no direct readout;
