  • QWAD adapter boards
  • Counting DAQ

Laser

  • Cavity under vacuum
  • Entrance scan complete [1]
  • Cavity locking at ~ 2.2 kW

Photon Detector

  • PREX checks

Analysis

  • Too busy for analysis!

Minutes

  • Attended: Mark, Adam, Amali, Alex, Brian, JC, Kent, Iris, Dave
  1. General
    1. Spin dance pushed to Sunday. Physics beam now scheduled for Tuesday 3rd Day Shift.
  2. Electron detector
    1. Detector status
      1. Adaptors for old cables to new VTROC modules have arrived and cabling will be done today
    2. QWAD adapter boards
      1. No update available
    3. Counting DAQ
      1. New computer on the network and CODA working. ROL needs to be transferred from the test bench. Will finalize what can be done today.
      2. VTP status not clear right now.
      3. FSD for electron detector needs to be tested.
  3. Laser
    1. Cavity under vacuum now. Cavity realigned. Cavity locking at ~ 2.2 kW.
    2. Entrance scan complete. Running point now optimized for maximum DOCP in the cavity.
  4. Photon Detector
    1. PREX checks
      1. Checks are done. And tube and base safely stored away.
    2. CREX preparations
      1. Linearity runs at load with gains at full and half. Last runs underway now.
      2. Gain dependent pedestal shift tests. Full load to no load showed 0.1% difference. (Variable LED doesn't vary, set to Compton edge.)
      3. Changing gain is a 2 person job (for tube safety.)
      4. 250 um sync shield is in place (matches simulations).
      5. Discussion about how to determine the jaws aperture. Try to fix the control board bootup network access issue.
  5. Analysis
    1. No progress
