  • progress
    • after checking optics, Boris polarization is still low and dropping. see [1]
    • finished AFP loss test for Cell Gravy. see details [2]
  • todo
      • Use the Moss cell to check system again.
        • masing effect for Moss cell ( polarization ~ 20%), details see [3] and [4]
        • set up the gradient coil
        • test different currents and thresholds
        • test the new method to destroy target chamber polarization for diffusion model.
      • if system OK. we will do following (2 weeks):temperature optimization and diffusion test (225~240, may add point 220)
        • temperature stabilized ~ 4 hours
        • spin up. Note:
          • 12sweep * 2 hours ( if spin up time > 6hours),
          • 15sweep * 1 hours ( if spin up time < 6hours)
        • do EPR
        • do internal temperature test. Note:
          • do NMR laser on - off - on - off- on, each time temperature should be stabilized, ~ 20min), total: 1.5 hour
        • do AFP loss with laser on( temperature stabilized)

        • do one cold spin down for this cell after finishing all temperature tests ~18 hours
