The beamline HV, which includes super-harp HV among other things, is controlled by a LeCroy model 1458 mainframe. The software that interacts with this is a Java-based code whose usage is described here.
1. Login to the "adaq1" or "adaq2" computer as user "adev". Or ask someone on shift in Hall A to do it. The password is posted in the Hall A counting room.
2. "cd slowc"
3. "./hvs BEAMLINE"
If all goes well, this brings up the Java GUI, whose usage is obvious. I don't know what is in all the slots and channels, so if someone wants to put that info here, it would help. Include the HV values, too, please. I'm told that the superharps normally use -1200V.
