full simulation and file sharing
We will run full simulation with all subsystems and generate various files at a shared central location
They can used for studies like acceptance, trigger, background, GEM etc and ensure consistent results
file sharing location by Zhiwen

list of study
Generator
new electron generator combining both DIS and resonance region with existing code (?)
new hadron generator (Rakitha)
Trigger
GEM digitization validation
SoLID GEM digitization is based on the SBS GEM digitization
According to Evaristo, the SBS GEM digitization is "Unfortunately not validated; we used the old COMPASS data to validate the digitization"
The way to do GEM digitization validation maybe
1. Extract information directly from hardware test 2. do standalone GEM simulations to matching hardware test condition
hardware test can be used
1. some cosmic or beam test with charge particles 2. the latest UVa xray test result (p13 of here)
charge particle response can provide all input for digitization Solid_GEM_Digitization#GEM_response
low energy photon response can provide additional info about low energy photons convert into ionization to make a GEM hit to anchor simulation, this is important because they dominate the background
Digitization (Weizhi,Ole,Rich,Seamus)
Occupancy (Weizhi,Seamus,Alex)
Tracking (Weizhi and Ole)
neutron background (Lorenzo)
with low neutron physics on, comparing to Fluka result
