- Use the Moss cell to check system again.
- masing effect for Moss cell ( polarization ~ 20%), details see [3] and link title
- set up the gradient coil
- test different currents and thresholds
- test the new method to destroy target chamber polarization for diffusion model.
- if system OK. we will do following (2 weeks):temperature optimization and diffusion test (225~240, may add point 220)
- temperature stabilized ~ 4 hours
- spin up ~ 24 hours
- do EPR
- do internal temperature test (do NMR laser on - off - on)~ 1 hour
- do AFP loss with laser on, check immediately
- do diffusion model ~ 4 hours
- wait for another 3~6 hours, or we can put it in diffusion test.
- do AFP loss with laser off, check immediately
- do hot spin-down ~ 12 hours
- do one cold spin down for this cell after finishing all temperature tests ~18 hours
- Use the Moss cell to check system again.
