      • Julie note from Beam Team Meeting at 1:30PM, Mar.8, 2016 at MCC.
  • Purpose: Plans to run at 60uA
  • Current issues:
- There is no consensus on why the beam is limited at 30 uA.
  • Ideas:
- 1/ The limitation is in the injector
- 2/ In the RF separator

For now the plan is to try 60 uA Thursday morning up to noon when another beam study task will start.

  • Attempt:
- 1/ Removing/Changing Wien filter (horizontal-> vertical) ??
- 2/ Run with a magnetic separation ??
  • Problem foresee:
- 1/  ??
- 2/ Compatible with Hall D taking data
  • GMp expert inform:
- 1/ Polarization is not matter
- 2/ High current 60 uA should be deliverable for calibration and production both 4pass and 5pass
  • Concluded Plan: Try 60 uA Thursday morning up to noon
