Calorimeter Work Log

This is a wiki page dedicated to recording work done to the BBCal or HCal subsystem hardware or software. This log is expected to be temporary pending the creation of an elog.

(07.05.22 Datta) Kate and I have installed both the modified discriminators for BBCAL Lo trigger set. We also tested the remote threshold control and it works but the set values are way of from other discriminators! The next step would be to setup the remote readback. Ellen has been notified and she will setup the rpi at her convenience. 

(06.28.22 Seeds) Created Log. Will follow up with Steve Wood after he returns from vacation (3 weeks) to create the proper 
HCal/BBCal/ECal elog.

(06.29.22 Seeds) Entered hall, HCal visual check, turned on HV. Ran two CODA configs to test functionality for Alex Camsonne (GMN1hcalvtp and HCALVTP_TS). Both configs hang on ER1 after download on data collection ("waiting for ... ER1"). Ran CODA from adaq@adaq2 vnc :4. Notified Alex on Slack with screenshots. GEMs not connected - the likely culprit. Will return this week to try again with GEMs enabled.

(06.29.22 Seeds) Notified by Arun that Ole Hansen can set up elog. Will follow up with him.

(07.02.22 Seeds) Contacted Ole who informed me that Alex Camsonne is responsible for the creation of elogs. Waiting on reply from Alex.
