Control of Equipment and System Status

During the running of Hall A experiments individuals authorized to make significant modifications, repairs, and/or changes to the operating status of equipment will be limited to the resident ``experts" or persons under their direct supervision. Note: significant changes to the operating status of equipment means changes beyond the nominal operating parameters of the subsystems. These ``experts" are primarily the Jefferson Lab staff members or users who were principles in designing, building and testing the subsystems. More details, the current lists and procedures for adding to the list of experts individuals are available in Chapter [*], ``Personnel Allowed to Operate Hall A Equipment." This document expanded and tailored to the specific experiment should accompany the user generated ``Conduct of Operations Document (COO)." ``Operational Safety Procedures for Hall A"and the ``Safety Assessment Document for Hall A Equipment" are the core operations documents for Hall A equipment.
